Day One, Arriving at Valladolid

We have made it all safely to Valladolid, checked into our hotel and enjoyed an evening on the town square.  The most visible symbol of this colonial town is the cathedral, built in 1530.  Here is a picture of Kirk and Ann Bailey of Pocatello.  We also enjoyed one of Brent and Marsha's favorite restaurants and sampling panuchos (spelling).  Mark, Lois, Brian, and Christine Berrett, along with Gene and Sheri Libutti and Kent and Heidi Higgins enjoyed this fun little eatery.  For the record, Steven and Christopher had two drinks, 5 panuchos, 2 tacos, and one empanada for $8.60 U.S. dollars.
